Locked up

It's been a while since we've been able to get into the house because they are now able to lock it up. Last night, however, they forgot to lock it, so Steve (my new neighbour) and I had a look around. All of the insulation and vapour barrier is in. They've completed the decking around the tub in the master bedroom, and the water heater was sitting in a box in the dining room. The stairs to the basement are in the garage, and the platform between the two sets of stairs is built, so I suspect the stairs will be installed soon.

I stopped by today to see what was happening, and the garage door guy was there. We were chatting it up and he's going to run the wires for us for the optical sensors so that they'll be under the drywall.

They have also removed the single makeshift post that was holding the porch overhang up and replaced it with three 2X6s that look to be close to where the posts will be. I suspect they'll install the posts and then remove each piece of wood as they go.
